Thankyou everyone for your contribution to a very worthwhile and helpful two days on Tuesday and Wednesday this week, to begin formal data collection for my project. I had group discussions and interviews with 40 people, including Emergency responders, businesses and private individuals, and was very pleased to have the opportunity for an interview with Southern Cross TV at the RSPCA facility in Lincoln.
From the top of Winters Hill I found a stunning view, and gained a good perspective of local geography, and in the town, found the best pasties and coffee. I’ve sent a photo of your mosaic sofa outside St Thomas’ Church to the Community Development officer for the Sampson Flat fire – as a similar project is planned as part of that community’s ongoing recovery.
Many thanks to Rex Regional Express for offering some support for my air fares for this community project.
My next visit is on 6 & 7 August, so please contact me at any time to take part.
